Burglary Reduction Schemes

Each year the Housing Crime Reduction team work closely with Greater Manchester Police and the council's community safety team to identify areas that could benefit from increased security measures.
The works carried out by the team aim to reduce the opportunities for criminal behaviour using a range of security measures such as:
- improved street lighting
- fencing
- target hardening
In order to find out more about what schemes we are carrying out you can click use the menu on the left or alternatively you can contact the team on 0161 604 7719 or just email housingcrimereduction@salford.gov.uk.
