Helping Hands fire safety initiative
Helping Hands, Greater Manchester Fire Service and Salford City Council are delighted to announce a major fire safety initiative.
A Free home fire safety check, including the fitting or replacement of old smoke detectors with the new ones, this service is available free to any Salford resident.
The smoke detectors will be the latest 10 year lifespan ones and it is hoped that they will make a significant impact in reducing home fire related casualties in the Salford area.
