A-LIST: Authorities and landlords improving standards together
Authorities and Landlords Improving Standards Together (A&List) is a north west accreditation and private rented housing partnership consisting of 36 local authorities, landlord associations and support agencies. The main aim is to improve standards in the private rented sector and raise awareness of landlord accreditation schemes and landlord licensing within the north west.
A&List also:
- provides advice and support to landlords and tenants
- shares good practice to ensure consistent standards across the north west
- addresses issues that affect landlords
- promotes and maintains investment in the north west
- provides a list of Local Authorities that have created LAS schemes
- produced a Terms of Reference
- created a leaflet detailing A&List activicties
