Renewal application
The Landlord Accreditation Scheme has recently reviewed the code of standards in order to reflect the changes being introduced by the Housing Act 2004. This legislation which came into force during April 2006, will introduce the licensing of certain privately rented properties. The Act will require private landlords to meet certain criteria, both in obtaining a licence and also meeting the condition of the licence.
In order to ensure that Landlord Accreditation maintains its reputation of promoting high standards of management within the private rented sector, an Accreditation review is currently being undertaken.
All current members of the scheme, have been sent a review application which needs to be completed and returned. This review process has now been completed, however if you still wish to be a member of the scheme then you can contact us. To complete the membership review the following information will need to be provided.
- Completed application form
- A current original Gas Safety Certificate (installation & use) regulations 1994 (as amended) for each property
- One copy of a current tenancy agreement
