Landlord Forum - Working with landlords in Salford

The Landlord Forum is a quarterly event which gives landlords the opportunity to interact with each other and to engage with the city council.

The events are jointly hosted by The Landlord Accreditation, Landlord Licensing and Housing Benefit Teams who are working together to keep landlords informed about changes that may effect them.

The next landlord forum is on Tuesday 2 December 2008, 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start at Buillehill Park Swinton.

Drop in session: one to one with Housing Benefit, Licensing and Accreditation staff.

Guest speakers on the night include Paul Shamplina from the BBC'sTenants from Hell. He will discuss how to manage tenancies when the relationships between tenant and landlord goes wrong. Other speakers include updates from LAS, Landlord Licensing and the Housing benefit team.

Previous events have tackled issues such as the forthcoming changes in housing legislation, e.g. Landlord Licensing, changes in Housing Benefit, tackling Anti Social Behaviour and the new HHSRS inspection regime. The presentations are available to download.
