How will Landlord Licensing affect me?
Selective Licensing will be introduced in three phases with each phase containing a number of areas. Following the successful approval from the DCLG, the first area of Phase 1 came into force on the 25th May 2007. Following the implementation of this, an application will be made for area 2 to be introduced followed by area 3.
Area 1 covers the Seedley/Langworthy regeneration area, area 2 will cover Broughton and area 3 Kersal/Charlestown. You can download from this page the full street names that are covered under area 1 Phase 1.
