Important information
Smoking ban
On 1 July 2007, England introduced a new law to make virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England smoke free. For more information and guidance on how this will affect you please visit www.smokefreeengland.co.uk or contact Lynne Ratcliffe on 0161 925 1388 or email lynne.ratcliffe@salford.gov.uk.
To read more about how Supporting People could benefit you, read our supporting people leaflet If you would like to comment on how we could improve our information please contact charlotte.hulton@salford.gov.uk on 0161 922 8759.
One of the main aims of the Supporting People team is to give tenants and service users more influence over their support services, so that in the long term, we are better able to meet people's needs. This means that support providers and the Supporting People team will involve people like you. We are interested in knowing:·
- What type and level of support you need ·
- How effective current services are ·
- What gaps there are in services ·
- How good is the quality of the service? ·
- How can services be improved?
By telling us what you think, you can play an important part in improving and planning services.
You may have already been asked to give your views when your service went through the review process. To find out how your service will be appraised in the future have a look at the contracts section of the provider area.
Take a look at our Service User Network (SUN) leaflet and poster below to find out how you can get involved with improving services
You could:
