DIRTY DIESELS - REPORT THEM!
Salford City Council has
launched a Dirty Diesel Campaign in partnership with the ten Greater Manchester authorities so that
YOU can report excessively smoky vehicles in Salford to the Environmental Protection department who
will then forward the details of your complaint to the relevant enforcement authority.
When you see a dirty diesel report it to Salford City Council (contact details at the bottom of this page) with the following details:
- The type of vehicle such as heavy goods, van, bus or taxi
- Vehicle registration number (and the taxi license number if applicable)
- Company name (if apparent)
- Where you saw the vehicle (motorway/road name if possible)
- Date and time of sighting
A dirty diesel leaflet has been produced to provide further information or you if you contact us, we'll pop one in the mail to you.
