Dust
Dust complaints from industrial, trade and agricultural premises are a significant proportion of the total complaints received by local authorities. Most complaints are due to annoyance in homes, gardens and working environments.
Businesses are expected to do all that is reasonable to cut down dust from their premises.
The emission of dust from some industrial or trade premises may be subject to specific controls relating to the site.
Dust from construction/maintenance activities should be kept to a minimum. However, we do recognised that complete elimination of dust may not be possible.
Please contact 0161-737 0551 or email environment@salford.gov.uk for further information. Alternatively, go to the Making a Complaint section if you need information on how to complain. You can also make a complaint about dust and deposits using the online reporting service.
