Natural environment
Salford has a wide range of Natural Environmental Assets that have a central role in the Unitary Development Plan and are important considerations when determining planning applications. The Environment & Projects Group hold information and data, are responsible for developing planning policies and guidance and offer advice on natural environmental assets and issues including wildlife and nature conservation, flood risk, greenspace and landscape.
