  6. An economically prosperous city
To create an economically prosperous city that encourages investment, supports business development, and enables local people to achieve their full potential
  7. A city that's good to live in
To create a city that is good to live in by providing good quality homes in a clean, safe and well maintained environment and to maximise accessibility by public transport, cycling and walking to employment, recreational and community facilities.

Strategic Delivery Partnerships

Seven Strategic Delivery Partnerships (SDPs) have been established by Partners IN Salford, linked to each of the seven themes, to take responsibility for championing and driving forward the priorities set out in the Community Plan.  The partnership’s first Annual Report in 2003 highlighted the significant progress that had been made since the inception of the Community Plan, emphasizing the actions that took place jointly by partners which have added value to what could have been achieved by agencies working alone.

For more information about the 7 SDPs please contact Partners IN Salford.
