Lynne Rogers
"If it's got four legs - we can deal with it!" says Senior Dog Warden Lynne Rogers. But that's not strictly true as she has handled all sorts of animal problems - even catching a stray cockerel in Broughton Park after a call from the RSPCA.
Lynne has plenty of experience though - she has five dogs and four horses of her own!
"People think I don't like dogs but you couldn't do this job if you didn't love animals. I hope I am changing people's minds about the old image of the 'dog catcher' with a net who would have the dog put down - we love to reunite dogs with their owners.
"There used to be big problem with packs of stray dogs in the city, but that doesn't happen these days, so I think we're getting it right."
You'll have no trouble spotting Lynne on Life of Grime - she's the one who successfully retrieves a dog after other people had spent four hours struggling with it. "The dog didn't like men!" she says modestly.
