Recycle your garden waste

Garden waste wheelie bin

Salford City Council has introduced a free door to door garden rubbish collection service.

If you would like to take part in this scheme, please contact the call centre on 909 6500 and we will (subject to availability and location) provide you with a standard sized wheeled bin, with a magenta coloured lid to identify it from your normal waste bin.

When you get your bin, you will be given a start date for the first collection and collections will be made on a fortnightly basis thereafter. This will always be on a Monday and will include Bank Holidays. There will be a sticker placed on your bin so you can always check when your bin will be emptied.

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the call centre on 0161 909 6500.
