How to report theft of paving stones
Theft of paving stones is a growing and serious crime. We need your help to combat it!
Paving stones are being stolen throughout the city. Not only are the thieves creating a safety hazard for pedestrians, they are also stealing the city’s heritage.
Thefts of this nature have a huge impact on council resources and the costs to make the area safe spiral, completely unnecessarily. Money which would be better spent on vital services is diverted into making good the pavement surface.
You can make a difference!
Please
report any suspicious actions to the police. Your call will be treated in strict
confidence. You should not make any direct approach to anyone you suspect of stealing paving stones.
