Prohibition of waiting: Huntsman Drive and Bessemer Road, Irlam Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 28 August 2008 (quoting reference H/PP/RAB/UV/RTO/44).

Introduction of no waiting at any time:
- Huntsman Drive, south side, from the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 70 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north side, from the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 46 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north side, from a point 63 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 37 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north side, from a point 153 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 37 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north west side, from a point 203 metres north west of the kerbline of Sorby Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 37 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north west side, from a point 287 metres north west of the junction with Sorby Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, west side, from its junction with Excalibur Way in a northerly direction for a distance of 80 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, north side, from a point 133 metres north east of its junction with Excalibur Way for a distance of 15 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, east side, from its junction with Excalibur Way, in a northerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
- Huntsman Drive, east side, from a point 70 metres north east from its junction with Excalibur Way in a north easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres.
- Bessemer Road, both sides, from a point 100 metres south east of the eastern kerbline of Gilchrist Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 39 metres.
- Bessemer Road, south west side, from a point 158 metres south east of the eastern kerbline of Gilchrist Road for a distance of 44 metres.
- Bessemer Road, both sides, from the roundabout in a north westerly direction for a distance of 25 metres.
