Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting and Introduction of Limited Waiting: Liverpool Road, Cadishead Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the City of Salford propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect parts of The Lancashire County Council(Liverpool Road A57 and Various Side Streets, Irlam)(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1966 will be revoked insofar as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect parts of The County Council of Lancashire (Liverpool Road, Irlam)(Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1961 will be revoked insofar as it relates to schedule 2 below.
When the order comes into effect limited waiting will be introduced on the length of road specified in schedule 3 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, by the 17 July 2008 (quoting reference H/PP/C/PD/RTO/2978)
Schedule 1
Revocation of no waiting at any time.
- Liverpool Road, north east side, from a point 15 metres north east of the north eastern kerbline of Graham Crescent in a north easterly direction for a distance of 66 metres.
- Liverpool Road, north east side, from a point 10 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Woodbine Avenue in a south westerly direction for a distance of 26 metres.
- Liverpool Road, north east side, from a point 10 metres north east of the north eastern kerbline of Woodbine Avenue in a north easterly direction for a distance of 74 metres.
- Liverpool Road, north east side, from a point 15 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Lords Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 40metres.
- Liverpool Road, south west side, from a point 38 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Allenby Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 43 metres.
- Liverpool Road, south west side, from a point 15 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Bobs lane in a south westerly direction for a distance of 40 metres.
Schedule 2
Revocation of no waiting at any time.
- Liverpool Road, south west side, from a point 15 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Woods Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 69 metres.
- Liverpool Road, north east side, from a point 15 metres north east of the north eastern kerbline of Albert Street in a north easterly direction for a distance of 65 metres.
Schedule 3
Introduction of limited waiting two hours no return within two hours Monday to Saturday.
- Liverpool Road, south west side, from a point 15 metres south west of the south western kerbline of Woods Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 69 metres.
