Revocation of prohibition of waiting and introduction of new prohibition of waiting: Roscoe Road, Irlam Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect article one of The Greater Manchester County (Roscoe Road,Irlam) (Prohibition of Waiting)(City) Order 1976 will be amended insofar as it relates to schedule 1 below.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait on the length of road specified in schedule 1 below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection, in writing, to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, by the 26 June 2008 (quoting reference H/PP/C/UV/RTO/27).
