Temporary prohibition of driving: Stott Lane, Salford Order 2008
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on Stott Lane, Salford from Eccles Old Road to Meadowgate Road.
The order is required to enable contractors to resurface the carriageway of Stott Lane and its junction with Eccles Old Road. The highway works are associated with the redevelopment of Hope Hospital and will commence on 6 September 2008 for a period of three months (Saturdays and Sundays only) until 7 December 2008. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Stott Lane - Eccles Old Road - Gilda Brook Road - Eccles New Road and Eccles New Road - Weaste Road - Tootal Drive - Eccles Old Road.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/RC/SM/UV/RTT/78).
