Temporary Prohibition of Driving: The Quays, Salford Order 2006
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the length of road detailed in the schedule below.
The order is required to enable the construction and dismantling of the transition area for the 2006 Triathlon Event at the bund between North Bay and Huron Basis and will commence at 06.00 hours on Saturday 29 July to 06.00 Sunday 30 July 2006 and from 18.00 to 20.00 hours on Sunday 30 July 2006. The alternative route for vehicles will be signed via Regent Road A57 into Manchester and Trafford.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/ME/PD/RTT/2284).

The Quays from The Lowry roundabout situated to the south of the bund for a distance of 212 metres in a north westerly and north easterly direction to the car park at the entrance to City Lofts.
