How are we performing
The Salford Crime and Disorder Partnership set targets for crime and disorder which run for twelve month periods ending at the end of March 2008 – these are measured by looking at recorded crime statistics.
As of January 2008 we had made the following progress on current targets:

| Reduce domestic burglary by 5% | 10.6% reduction |
| Reduce vehicle crime by 22% | 21.5% reduction |
| Reduce theft from motor vehicles by 30% | 14.6% reduction |
| Reduce assaults and woundings by 5% | 11.6% reduction |
| Reduce robbery by 5% | 16.2% reduction |
