Pedal Theft Reduction Campaign
Salford Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership, in its commitment to reducing crime and disorder within the city, has launched a new project aimed at preventing pedal cycle theft.
The project uses new electronic technology to accurately identify pedal cycles and link them to their rightful owners, which together with the distribution of pedal cycle crime prevention information we believe, will substantially reduce the vulnerability of pedal cycles to theft.
Electronic tagging of your bicycle was available free of charge at a number of events across the city.
For more information please email us at community.safety@salford.gov.uk.
Everyone can reduce their risk of pedal theft by adopting the recommendations contained in the home office guidance booklet. Download yours NOW.
