Community group grants
Community Services is part of Community, Health and Social Care. We work with local communities across the city. We also administer various sources of funding for local community groups.
Community committee funding
Each community committee also has a budget to support local groups, which are working to meet the local Community Action Plan. If your group would like to apply for funding, you should contact Community Services.
Your application should show how the work of your group will help meet the local Community Action Plan in at least one of the following areas.
- Improving the environment
- Improving transport
- Education
- Improving health
- Strengthening the community
- Tackling crime
- Tackling poverty
- Economic development
- Supporting children and young people
