Salford Strategic Partnership

Partners IN Salford is the local strategic partnership - or LSP - for this city.
Partners IN Salford brings together people from the city's public, private, community, voluntary and faith sectors. These people work closely together to ensure that all of Salford's citizens have an equal chance to thrive.
Our vision and aims
Our vision for Salford is published in Making the Vision Real, our community plan. This plan, laid out under seven themes for the future of the city, sets out our vision for the city in 2016:
Much of what we will do to achieve this vision is written in the Salford Agreement, a three-year agreement between the partnership and the Government in which we state how we will make life better for the people of Salford.
Members of Partners IN Salford have made a shared commitment to achieve our vision and the targets in the Salford Agreement.
How we work
All of our partners come together twice a year to look at the major issues in the city and to decide what the partnership will focus on in the coming months.
This work is then taken forward by the partnership's executive, a smaller group who meet regularly to make sure the partnership is on track and making a difference.
Thematic partnerships work towards the seven themes of the community plan and the objectives in the Salford Agreement.
