The Salfordian Hotel is situated in picturesque Southport overlooking Hesketh Park and near to other local attractions.
The hotel is run by the Salfordian Trust and caters mainly for older Salford residents and less mobile visitors but we also welcome other guests. Special rates are available for group bookings.
Catering for different needs
If you need to consider your mobility when booking a hotel, The Salfordian is probably suitable for you. The hotel is accessible for wheelchair users. Staff, who understand your needs, are on hand to make you feel at home and at ease during your stay. If you have a carer they can book in with you to enable you to enjoy your holiday. Special diets can also be accommodated.

The Salfordian overlooks Hesketh Park with its lakes, rose gardens, mini golf, aviary, cafe and conservatory.

Southport has many attractions
Southport has one of the longest piers in the UK, second only to Southend on sea.
Other attractions in Southport include the elegant promenade, botanic gardens and museum (housing a collection of Victoriana) and lake trips in the summer of Southport's Marine Lake.

Salford City Reds supporting The Salfordian
Reds’ Chairman John Wilkinson OBE links these two great Salford establishments. The prominent local businessman has headed up the rugby club for 25 years and is also a Trustee of the famous seaside hotel.
Salford City Reds regularly take players down to the hotel to meet the guests and play cards and darts with them. These visits provide publicity for the good work that the Salfordian does and helps the Reds promote their link even further.
The Salford City Reds club also promote the hotel in their weekly match programme and on their website and last season invited guests from the hotel to a Super League fixture at The Willows.
