New facilities

Lledr Hall

Completed in March 2006, the new barrier-free building at Lledr Hall has been financed in partnership with The Big Lottery, and The Booth Charity.

Aiming to achieve a step-change in provision, the new building has been designed with sustainability in mind. It's design complements the existing building and incorporates energy saving systems which are in harmony with the aims of the Outdoor Education Service.

The new building project provided:

Two lifts

Fully accessible suite
Fully accessible suite

New staff room
3 bed en-suite staff room

Kitchen
New kitchen

Bathroom
New showers and toilets

  • Admin offices
  • Centre staff changing room
  • through access to the equipment store and main hall

Purpose built, this is a unique building which should ensure that the centre's facilities now match the high standard of activity provision, and, for those leading groups, the care and management of young people attending courses at Lledr Hall is now much easier.
