Amendment of existing order and introduction of loading bay: Monton Road, Eccles Order 2010

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 45, 47, 49, 53 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

When the order comes into effect The Greater Manchester County (Monton Road, Area, Eccles) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (County) Order 1978 will be amended as specified in Schedule 1 below and you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time in the loading bay as detailed in Schedule 2 below.

The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Director of Engineering, Traffic Management and Control, 4th Floor, Emerson House, Albert Street, Eccles, M30 0TE by the 11 October 2010. (quoting reference TRO 1603)

Amendment of:

In so far as it relates to Schedule (1): Roads in Eccles in the City of Salford in the County of Greater Manchester.

Amend Part (B)

North east side from a point 45 metres south east of the south east of its junction with Mirfield Drive to a point 12.8 metres south east of the south east boundary of the Princess Cinema Buildings.
