Lower Monton Road, Salford (Prohibition of Waiting) (Amended)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and by virtue of The Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (City of Salford) Order 2001 (Statutory Instrument 2001 No. 894) made by the Secretary of State for Environment, Transport and the Regions pursuant to Schedule 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
When the Order comes into effect The City of Salford (Lower Monton Road, Eccles) (Borough of Eccles (Various Streets) (Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 1967) (Part Revocation and Prohibition of Waiting and Limited Waiting Order) Order 1988 will be amended as specified in the schedule.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive. Details can be viewed online.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Head of Law and Administration, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA by the 2 January 2004 (quoting reference H/HLU/C/RTO/PD/00786).
