Lower Broughton parents' and carers' groups

Parents' and carers' groups at Lower Broughton run monthly on a Friday. These groups are a great way of getting to know other parents over a cup of tea or coffee, whilst the children are being cared for in the creche by our experienced centre workers. As a parent/carer you get the chance to evaluate the services already running from the centre with us. You can also discuss what you would like in your centre and how we can improve the groups that you either already attend or would like to attend.

Some examples are:

Our parents' and carers' asked if we could have other professionals come into the centre who could give advice on parenting issues such as children's healthy menus. So we invited the community food worker into our parents' and carers' groups to talk about children's menus.
