We ran a consultation on proposals for Moorside Park and Beech Farm which ended on 24 July 2026. This followed large amount of damage to the grass football pitches. We asked for your views on measures to prevent this damage and restrict unauthorised vehicle access. The results from the consultation can be viewed below.

Moorside provides opportunities to take part in a variety of leisure opportunities including both bowling and football.
Beech Farm is primarily used for organised football and is home to both Moorside Rangers and Beechfield United football teams.
The park also has an active friends group.
