Policing in Salford is as much about providing a reassuring presence throughout the city as protecting people by responding quickly to emergencies.

The Salford Police Division seeks improve the quality of life for people in Salford by reducing crime and anti-social behaviour.

To tackle these problems, Neighbourhood Policing teams and Police Community Support Officers carry out high visibility patrols and provide valuable reassurance to communities.

Through working with our partner agencies and building links with community groups, we can have a positive impact on the issues that matter most to the public we serve.
