Recycled fashion at Buile Hill High School

As part of the school's 'Creative Week' the environmental education team worked with Year 10 textile students to raise awareness of textile waste in this country, which still consists of 10% of everything that gets sent to landfill. Students learnt about textile recycling and were set the challenge of revamping clothes which had been given away. The class really took this on board and created some great new fashion pieces. The session was so successful that the team was asked to return again.
