Office and Shops Act Notification
The Offices, Shops and Railway Premises Act 1963 (and the Notification of Employment of Persons Order 1964) requires anyone who employs persons to work in a shop or office to complete an application form.
The completed form must be returned to the enforcing authority for health and safety (this is detailed on the form) where they will send a duplicate to the fire authority.
