Technology cuts crime in your community

Over recent years, Salford Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership has brought about significant reductions in crime and disorder across Salford.
By investing in new technology, including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, we are confident that we can continue these reductions.
In order for us to maximise opportunities for crime prevention and detection, we have introduced the following innovative CCTV mapping system, which we encourage anyone with a recorded CCTV system, which surveys public space in Salford to use.
Please use the link below to enter details of your recorded CCTV system now. The information you provide will help us to build up an accurate picture of CCTV within Salford and will be held in the strictest of confidence. You will only be contacted in instances where your system may hold vital footage.
Please proceed only if you can confirm that you hold footage recorded from your camera for a period of at least 72 hours.
