Family Friendly Film Club
Family Friendly Film Club is taking a summer break, but will return in September!
Each month there will be a different theme and we will also be holding a craft activity following the screening. The film starts at 2.30pm and the total viewing time is approximately 60 minutes but you can watch as many as you want. These screenings are free but come on a first come, first served basis. Screenings will be held on the following dates:
- Saturday 25 September
- Saturday 30 October
- Saturday 27 November
Salford Local History and Family Fun Day - Sunday 19 September 11.00am to 4.00pm
With over 30 stalls to browse representing local history groups, museums, heritage organisations and booksellers. There will also be children's activities and vintage bus rides. Salford Local History Library will be open and staff will be available to help with your local and family history enquires.
The museum cafe will be open serving drinks and refreshments.
This is a FREE event.

International Food Festival - Sunday 10 October, 1.00pm to 4.00pm
Our fourth annual celebration of food!
Celebrate with us as we explore food from around the world and food from Salford. There will be plenty of chances to taste international dishes, get recipe ideas and cooking tips.
Everyone is welcome to this FREE event and there is no need to book!

Craft Fair at Salford Museum and Art Gallery
- Sunday 17 October, 11.00pm to 3.30pm
Last year's fair at Salford Museum and Art Gallery was a huge success, and we hope that this year's fair will be just as successful. Why not come and get some early Christmas shopping done at one of the many stalls selling affordable handmade items, or just treat yourself to something lovely! The cafe will also be open for light refreshments when you need a break from all the bargain hunting!
Arts advice seminars
Join the Arts Development Service and guest speakers in the splendour of Salford's Museum and Art Gallery for two seminars aimed at individual artists and organisations based in Salford who want to know more about getting established, delivering community art projects in Salford or how to apply for external funding to support their work in the arts.
