Pay and display - charges/parking tariffs

In 2022 Salford City Council invested in new machines at all its pay and display car park sites, which now accept all major credit/debit card payments, Apple/Google Pay, as well as coins.

There are also cashless online payments available via RingGo or monthly, quarterly and annual season tickets via MiPermit.

To identify if the car park you are visiting has RingGo payments please go to RingGo locations finder page.

For season tickets please go to MiPermit Salford City Council Cashless Parking and Digital Permits (subject to limited availability).

Relevant charges/parking tariffs are displayed on information boards and on machines in the car parks, and either a pay-and-display ticket must be obtained from the pay-and-display machines upon arrival and displayed within your vehicles windscreen or have received payment confirmation of a digital payment from the cashless service provider (advertised on the side of machines), even if you are staying for less than the 30 minutes free parking period on offer at some parking sites).

Penalty charge notices may be issued by civil enforcement officers to vehicles that are not adhering to the conditions of use.
