Bloom Street/Sackville Street

Salford City Council hereby proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

Proposed No Waiting at Any Time on:

  • Bloom Street - west side from a point 28.4m west of the northern extended kerbline of Chapel Street to William Street for a distance of 112.6m. East side from a point 24m north west of the northern extended kerbline of Chapel Street to William Street for a distance of 107m.
  • Sackville Street - north side from the western extended kerbline of Bloom Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 24.5m. South side from the western extended kerbline of Bloom Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 22m. 

Proposed Limited Waiting Parking Place. Operative At All Times Monday to Sunday, waiting limited to 20 minutes. No return within one hour on:

  • Bloom Street - west side from a point 20.7m north west of the northern extended kerbline of Chapel Street to a point 28.4m north west of the northern extended kerbline of Chapel Street. 

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 4 October 2018 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/661).
