Proposed Prohibition of Waiting/Peak Hour Loading, Car Club and electric vehicle parking places

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The proposed order seeks to introduce:

No waiting at any time, No loading/unloading Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm:

Browncross Street: north west side from the south west kerbline of Quay Street in a south west direction to a point 2m south west from the south west kerbline of Yorkshire Street. 

Car Club parking places (operative all days 24 hours):

Browncross Street north west side from 24m south west from the south west kerbline of Yorkshire Street in a south west direction for 10m (two bays).

Electric vehicle parking places (operative all days 24 hours. Maximum stay four hours. No return within four hours): 

Browncross Street north west side from 2m south west from the south west kerbline of Yorkshire Street in a south west direction for  22m, width 2m (four bays).

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays.

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 25 August 2017 (quoting ref L/AFOUT1093/468).
