Cheltenham Street

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce: 

No Waiting at Any Time on: 

Cheltenham Street 

  • North east side from a point 11 metres south east of the closed north west end of Cheltenham Street in a south easterly direction to a point 41 metres south east of the south easterly kerbline of Broughton Road
  • South west side from a point 1.5 metres north west from the extended southern kerbline of Princess Street in a southerly direction, around the entire turning circle, then on the south westerly side in a south easterly direction for a distance of nine metres 

Limited waiting parking places with width 2.2m from Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, waiting limited to two hours, no return within two hours on:

Cheltenham Street 

  • North west side of north west closed end of Cheltenham Street, from a point 7.2 metres north west of the southerly kerbline of Princess Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 12 metres
  • South west side of north west closed end of Cheltenham Street from a point 1.5 metres north west of the southerly kerbline of Princess Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 18 metres 

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 27 July 2018 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/644).
