Chesterfield Close area

Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order will be to introduce:

20 mph speed limit zone

• Along the entire lengths of Chesterfield Close, Calder Lane, Chichester Lane and Chelmer Way in Eccles.

No waiting at any time

Chesterfield Close

• North west kerb line from its junction with Worsley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 33m
• South east kerb line from its junction with Worsley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 10m
• South east kerb line from a point 25m north east from its junction with Worsley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 20m.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 26 September 2019 (quoting ref L/JGL/OUT1094/273).
