Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Claremont Area) 20 Mph Speed Limit Zone Order 2024

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce 20mph on the following roads:

For their entire length, unless otherwise specified:

  • Hunts Road
  • Sumner Road
  • Alesford Road
  • Duffield Road
  • Crosby Road
  • Penelope Road
  • Elleray Road
  • Moorfield Road
  • Woodfield Road
  • King Street
  • Irlam Square
  • Churchfield Road
  • Acresfield Road
  • Glenfyne Road
  • Caldy Road (from its junction with Moorfield Road to its junction with Doveleys Road)
  • Longmead Road (from its junction with Moorfield Road to its junction with Doveleys Road)
  • Trenant Road (from its junction with Moorfield Road to its junction with Doveleys Road)
  • Denstone Road (from its junction with Moorfield Road to its junction with Doveleys Road)

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.

The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
