Claremont Road and Queen Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the City of Salford (Claremont Road and Queen Street) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2022 under the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No waiting at any time on:

Claremont Road

  • East side from 10m north of the north westerly projected kerbline of Queen Street to a point 10 metres south of the south easterly projected kerbline of Queen Street

Queen Street

Both sides from its junction with Claremont Road for a distance of 10m north easterly.

No waiting Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm on:

Queen Street

  • South east side from 10m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Claremont Road for 29m north easterly
  • South east side 64m north east from the north easterly projected kerbline of Claremont Road 72m north easterly.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above order may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
