Cross Lane/Graythorpe Walk

Prohibition of waiting order 2017

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:

Cross Lane

  • Both sides, from its junction with the southerly projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, for a distance of 40 metres in a south westerly direction.
  • South east side, from its junction with the southerly projected kerbline of Jo Street, for a distance of 22.5 metres in a south westerly direction.
  • East and south side, from a point 24 metres north east of the northerly projected kerbline of Graythorpe Walk, in a south westerly direction to its junction with Graythorpe Walk.
  • West side, from its junction with the northerly projected kerbline of Graythorpe Walk for a distance of 70 metres in a north easterly direction.
  • South east side, from the north eastern kerbline of Jo Street for a distance of 10.5 metres in a north easterly direction.

Graythorpe Walk

  • Both sides, from its junction with the projected rear footway of Cross Lane, for 4.5 metres in a westerly direction.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
