City of Salford (Deans Road Area, Swinton, Salford) (Introduction of 20 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2017.

Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011.

The order shall be to prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated;

Adelaide Street, Algernon Street, Argyle Street, Arthur Street, Balliol Street, Bedford Avenue, Blackcroft Close, Broadbent Street, Carden Avenue, Carr Street, Collier Street, Dalby Avenue, Deans Road, Deanscourt Avenue, Dryden Avenue, East Lancashire (Access Road) from its junction with Hope Street to its junction with Broadbent Street. Ellesmere Street, Everton Street, Fernlea Crescent, Godlee Drive, Harrowby Road, Heywood Street, Holdsworth Street, Hope Street, Lawn Drive, Leinster Road, Lincoln Road, Linden Avenue, Lindsay Avenue, Minstrel Close, Napier Street, Paddison Street, Perth Street, Pine Grove, Roughlee Avenue, Sandygate Close, St. Anns Street, St. Peters Road, Stockton Street, Sydney Street, Vicarage Road and Westbrook Road.

The order will contain exceptions for a vehicle if used for naval, military, or air force purposes.

A copy of the proposed order, together with plans of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton. M27 5DA, between 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
