Derwent Street area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effect of the Order is as follows:

City of Salford (Derwent Street) (Prohibition Of Waiting, Designated Parking Places for Loading/Unloading and Amendment) Order 2024

No waiting at any time on:

Ordsall Lane

  • South east from 15m south west of the south westerly projected kerbline of Derwent Street, for 10m south westerly direction

Derwent Street

  • South west and north west side, from the south easterly projected kerbline of Ordsall Lane for its entire length including the cul-de-sac end
  • North east side, from the south easterly projected kerbline of Ordsall Lane, for a distance of 68m in a south easterly direction; and
  • North east side and south east side from 82m south east from the south easterly projected kerbline of Ordsall Lane to its cul-de-sac end.

Parking place reserved for loading and unloading only operational at all times on:

Derwent Street

  • North east side, from 68m south east from the south easterly projected kerbline of Ordsall Lane for 14m south easterly.

An Existing Order is to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
