Fairhurst Drive

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to introduce no waiting at any time on Fairhurst Drive (cul-de-sac length)

  • North eastern side, from the entrance to the cul-de-sac (a point of 53 metres from its junction with the westerly kerbline [projected] of Wichbrook Road) for a distance of 14 metres in a north westerly direction
  • South western/ south side, from the entrance to the cul-de-sac (a point 51 metres from its junction with the northerly kerbline [projected] of Aspinall Crescent) for a distance of 42.5 metres in a north westerly then westerly direction.

The existing 7.5 tonnes weight limit zone will be amended to add the Fairhurst Drive cul-de-sac extension (from a point located 51 metres from its junction with the northerly kerbline (projected) of Aspinall Crescent in a north westerly and westerly direction for the full length of the cul-de-sac).

An existing order is to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals.

A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Fridays.
