Prohibition of waiting order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:

Netherland Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with Howard Street, for the full length of the street.

Montford Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with Howard Street, for a distance of 9.6 metres in a north westerly direction.

Sangster Court

  • Both sides, from its junction with Howard Street for a distance of 8 metres in a south easterly direction.

Howard Street

  • Both sides, from a point 68 metres south of its junction with Netherland Street for a distance of 21.3 metres in a south westerly direction.
  • West side, from a point 37.3 metres south west of its junction with Montford Street to its junction with Joule Close.
  • East side, from a point 8.4 metres south west of its junction with Quay View for a distance of 23.2 metres in a south westerly direction.

Joule Close

  • West side, from its junction with Howard Street for a distance of 44.5 metres in a south westerly direction.

Byrom Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with Howard Street, for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday.
