Levens Street area

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The titles and effect of the proposed orders are as follows:

No waiting at any time on:

  • Levens Street - both sides, from the western kerbline of Littleton Road 10m in a westerly direction.
  • Littleton Road - west side, from the northern kerbline of Levens Street for 6m in a northerly direction.
  • Littleton Road - west side, from the southern kerbline of Levens Street for 5m in southerly direction.
  • Blossom Way - both sides, from the western kerbline of Littleton Road for 10m in a westerly direction.
  • Littleton Road - west side, from the northern kerbline of Blossom Way for 26m in a northerly direction.
  • Littleton Road - west side, from the southern kerbline of Blossom Way for 6m in southerly direction.
  • Eagle Drive - both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Auckland Drive for 10m in a westerly direction.
  • Auckland Drive - east side, from the northern kerbline of Eagle Drive for 15m in a northerly direction.
  • Auckland Drive - east side, from the southern kerbline of Eagle Drive for 15m in southerly direction.

20mph speed limit zone on the following streets for their entire length unless otherwise stated:

  • Union Street
  • Rugeley Street
  • Manifold Street
  • Walsall Street
  • Tabley Street
  • Lichfield Street
  • Concord Place
  • Withcombe Place
  • St George’s Place
  • Reddaway Close
  • Gerald Road
  • Edale Street

Existing orders have been amended to be consistent with proposals. A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 8 April 2019 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/711).
