North George Street and Frederick Street

The council of the City of Salford proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City Of Salford (Prohibition Of Driving) (North George Street And Frederick Street, Blackfriars And Trinity) Order 2024

The effect of the order will be to introduce the following:

Prohibition of driving on:

  • North George Street - From the south-easterly projected kerb line of Cannon Street, in a southerly direction for 52.5 metres.
  • Frederick Street - From a point 11.5 metres south of the southerly projected kerb line of Nathan Drive in a south westerly direction to a point 7 metres north of the northerly projected kerb line of Lamb Lane.

A copy of the order and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, inclusive. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal addresses below.
