Oldfield Road area

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on:

Oldfield Road

  • East side, from a point 28m from its junction with northern kerbline of Ordsall Lane, for a distance of 250m in a northerly direction.
  • West side, from a point 28m from its junction with northerly kerbline of Ordsall Lane, for a distance of 18m in a northerly direction.
  • West side, from its junction with southern kerbline of Robert Hall Street, for a distance of 15m in a southerly direction.
  • West side, from its junction with northern kerbline of Robert Hall Street, for a distance of 15m in a northerly direction.
  • West side, from its junction with southern kerbline of Saint Bartholomew’s Drive, for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.

Saint Bartholomew’s Drive

  • South side, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Oldfield Road, for a distance of 10m in a northerly direction.

Robert Hall Street  

  • Both sides, from its junction with western kerbline of Oldfield Road, for a distance of 15m in a north westerly direction.

Mount Carmel Crescent

  • South side, from its junction with westerly kerbline of Oldfield Road, for a distance of 10m in a northerly direction.
  • North side, from its junction with western kerbline of Oldfield Road, for a distance of 25.7m in a westerly direction.
  • North side, from a point 45m from its junction with western kerbline of Oldfield Road, for a distance of 42.3m in a westerly, northerly and easterly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended to be consistent with the above proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 8 April 2019 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/710).
