Regent Road, Oldfield Road and Duncan Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effect of the Order is as follows:

City of Salford (Regent Road, Oldfield Road and Duncan Street, Ordsall) (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading / Unloading, Designated Parking Places For Loading/Unloading And Amendment) Order 2024

The Order will introduce the following restrictions:

No Waiting at Any Time on:

Oldfield Road

  • West side from the northerly extended kerbline of Regent Road northerly for 46.8m.

Duncan Street

  • South side from the westerly extended kerbline of Oldfield Road, for 165.5m westerly.

No Loading/Unloading at Any Time on:

Oldfield Road

  • West side from the northerly extended kerbline of Regent Road northerly for 46.8m;
  • West side from the southerly extended kerbline of Duncan Street for 17.1m southerly.

Parking place reserved for Loading and Unloading Only (At All Times) on:

Oldfield Road

  • West side from 46.8m north of the northern extended kerbline of Regent Road, northerly for 32.3m and having a width of 2.7m throughout.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Details can be viewed online on this page.
